The Little Eaters Take Paris: Crepes & Champs-Élysées Adventures

Our day in Paris started with the ultimate sightseeing adventure — the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus! With its open top and amazing views, it was the perfect way to explore all the magical places in this city of lights.

One of our favorite stops was the Champs-Élysées, one of the most famous streets in the world! We hopped off to check it out — and here’s a fun fact for the little ones:
👉 Did you know that the Champs-Élysées is over 1.2 miles long and leads straight to the Arc de Triomphe? This giant monument honors French soldiers and has a flame that burns every single day to remember the unknown soldier from World War I. How cool is that?

Next up, we made our way to the Petit Palais, a beautiful museum that looks like a palace out of a fairy tale. We were there to see the dazzling Haute Couture exhibit — full of glamorous gowns, glittering beads, and amazing designs that looked like they belonged on royal red carpets.

🧵 Fun Fact: Charles Frederick Worth, who’s often called the father of haute couture, actually started the whole idea of designer fashion in the 1800s! He was the first to sew labels into his clothes — just like the tags you see in your favorite shirts. He made dresses for queens and empresses, and turned fashion into a true art form!

But after all that sightseeing, our tummies started rumbling... and that meant it was time for lunch! The kids had one thing on their minds: crêpes.

We found the sweetest little café just off the main avenue, with outdoor tables perfect for people-watching.

And let me tell you — the kids went all in! Each of them had a warm, gooey Nutella crêpe (because: chocolate!), then they helped Daddy finish his grilled chicken sandwich and even split a fresh tuna sandwich too. We even worked on how to cut with a fork and knife. So French, so delicious, and so much fun sitting outside in the Paris sunshine.

This little lunch stop was the perfect pause during a big day of exploring. Paris, you taste amazing. ❤️

Little Eaters Takeaway:

Crepes taste even better in Paris — especially with Nutella! 👩‍🍳🍫

Big sandwiches are for sharing, fashion can be super sparkly, and hop-on hop-off buses are the best way to see everything without getting tired feet. 😄

Oh — and we now know what haute couture means: fancy clothes that look like princess dresses! 👗✨
